Stewarding the Light

Most people do not know what is in them until a moment of opportunity comes. Due to our human nature, these moments usually come from a pressing, a shaking, a crushing, in the story of our lives. 

 When squeezed by “the pressure” then what has been stewarded inside of us will begin to come forth. That’s right, it’s not an accident what comes out. It’s a stewardship issue! It’s interesting that this process happens with grapes, and it produces “new wine.”

 I may be crazy enough to believe that this is the greatest opportunity of my lifetime (so far), to allow Jesus to come out! I don’t know your struggles in this season or if you have come through mostly unscathed. I can’t predict your outcome, and I don’t know your specific trial. 

What I do know is that this is a season of the “new wine.” It’s a season of the Holy Spirit to illuminate God’s light within us, and to allow no corridor of our heart to be untouched by the flooding of His light. It’s the season for light to shine brightest. 

 There was a study done that showed that they finally found something that moves faster than light...do you know what it was??? Darkness. 

It isn’t until darkness surrounds us, til it’s pressing on every side, til it’s obstructing our view, til it’s crushing all that is within our sight that we...turn on the light! And darkness runs as soon as we do!!! 

 Allow the Father of heavenly lights to shine upon you in peak power! Allow Him to shine through you! Don’t impede His peak reflection through you by your unbelief, doubts, opinions, knowledge, personal experiences, unforgiveness, disobedience, hatred, jealousy, sexual immorality, doctrine, dogma, or pride. 

Allow every corridor of your heart to be flooded with light, and then to flow through your life! The darkness will run from you and from those you encounter. This world doesn’t need you, it needs Christ in you...the hope of glory!!! Let Him shine before all men.

Matthew 5:16, “So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that the commendable things you do will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.”
